STANDARD SPECIFICATION
ENGINE - Industrial 4 stroke water cooled diesel engine complete with air, fuel and oil filters, electric starting and charging equipment, engine protection against low oil pressure, high engine temperature and low water level. Rated in accordance with ISO 3046 / ISO 8528. All engines are Electronically governed using the MTU MDEC Control System.ALTERNATOR - Brushless, self exciting, self regulating, screen protected, drip proof rated in accordance with BS 4999/5000. Voltage regulation maintained within ±1.5% from no load to full load, between 0.8 lagging and unity. All standard voltages available. Radio suppression to BS 800. COOLING - Air cooling on 11, 18, 24, 32, 40, 60, 100 & 135 kVA, Oil cooling on 20, 28 & 38 kVA, and Water cooling on the rest. Radiator and cooling fan complete with protection guards, designed to cool engine at specified output in air temperatures up to 45ºC. Radiators suitable for higher temperatures are available. Low water level protection fitted as standard. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM - All generators operate on a 24 Volt system. Axial type starter motor, battery charging alternator, high capacity lead acid battery, battery tray mounted on the generator baseframe, and heavy duty interconnecting cable with terminations.
